FIXED FEE FOR COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL
UNLAWFUL DETAINER:
The following is an outline of our attorney's fees for
commercial unlawful detainer proceedings:
$50.00 per Notice:
- Notice of Pay Rent or Surrender Possession
- Notice to Quit (Breach of Covenant)
- Notice to Perform Covenant or Quit
The fee for the preparation of an unlawful detainer
complaint to gain possession of the property for commercial
property is fixed at $150.00 and $100.00 for residential
property.
The costs of preparing a Request to Enter Default or a
Clerk's Judgement for Possession with the court (together
with a Writ of Execution for Possession of Real Property) is
also fixed at $150.00.
HOURLY FEE FOR COMMERCIAL AND
RESIDENTIAL UNLAWFUL DETAINER ACTIONS:
Legal services for the preparation of all necessary
documents including an Abstract of Judgment to obtain a
default money judgment are billed at $225.00 per attorney
hour and $135.00 per paralegal hour. These rates are also
charged for any extensive settlement discussion and
conferences with attorneys and/or tenant(s).
If a matter is set for trial, the attorney time is billed
at $225.00-$250.00 per hour for both preparation for trial (which
includes conferences with witnesses) and actual trial
appearance.
After judgment, services performed to collect on the
judgment obtained are billed at the rate of $225.00 per
attorney hour, and $135.00 per paralegal hour.
OTHER SERVICES:
Legal serves rendered in the areas of transactional law,
formation and dissolution of corporations and partnerships,
drafting of contract and leases, estate planning, securing
financing and resolving title disputes are billed at the
rate of $195.00 to $250.00 per attorney hour. Contingency
fees are also provided concerning those cases pertaining to
personal injury claims.
